Christ of the Covenants, The
Author: O. Palmer Robertson
Product code: B503
The richness of a covenantal approach to understanding the Bible is presented, along with interaction with other viewpoints.
From the Covenant of Creation to the Covenant of Consummation, Robertson presents the successive scriptural covenants in a way that uncovers their role in developing the central thrust of God’s redemptive plan for His people. Robertson also demonstrates that covenant theology has much to contribute to the solidarity and maturity of faith among evangelicals.
"By understanding correctly God’s initiative in establishing covenants in history, a solid foundation will be laid for unraveling the complex question of the relation of the two testaments," writes O. Palmer Robertson in the preface. "Virtually every school of biblical interpretation today has come to appreciate the significance of the covenants for the understanding of the distinctive message of the Scriptures."
