Carl Kinbar
Carl Kinbar was involved in various levels of congregational teaching, mentoring and leadership from 1978 through 1999. In 2004, he co-founded an independent congregation in Derwood, Maryland, leading it until his move to Austin, Texas, in 2008.
In 2003, Carl received a Master`s degree in Jewish Studies from Spertus College of Judaica in Chicago, Illinois. His focus was rabbinic texts. He later gained a DLitt et Phil through his dissertation on rabbinic texts at the University of South Africa, Department of Judaica.
