Great Awokening, The
Cultural Progessivism and the Church in Britain.
Author: Martin Charlesworth
Product code: B554
How should the church respond to the rise of cultural progressivism?
In a rapidly shifting cultural landscape, how can the church remain faithful, courageous, and clear? This compelling book explores the rise of Cultural Progressivism, often called the ’woke’ movement, tracing its focus on gender, sexuality, and race, and its profound influence on British society and the Church.
With clarity and conviction, Part One analyses how this ideology gained traction so quickly within society. Part Two offers a robust biblical critique of its roots in Critical Theory. Finally, Part Three equips churches with practical, creative, and theologically grounded strategies for responding wisely and faithfully. A vital resource for leaders, thinkers, and anyone concerned for the future of the church and society in Britain
