About the Author

Pauline Shone

After studying at Art College and gaining a degree in Art and Design Pauline Shone began her working life as a teacher. A commission from Spode China propelled her into a career as a freelance designer and sculptor for the ceramic industry. She worked for several other pottery factories over the following twenty years, but she is mainly known by her work for Spode China. Not long after becoming a Christian her successful career came to a sudden and unexpected end. After a period in the wilderness, in obedience to God’s calling on her life, she attended Torchbearers Bible College and became involved with missions. Some years later, God used her creativity to write and illustrate Children’s Bible Stories. There are currently 18 books in the series and over 400,000 have been distributed, mainly in India and China. Her desire and focus is to creatively communicate the truth of God’s Word.
Pauline has a son and daughter, as well as four grandchildren.
