Journey to the Holocaust

Anti-Semitism, the Bible and History

Author: Susanna Kokkonen

Product code: B512

Through the author`s personal experiences we see that the Holocaust is present in today`s world. The question is: what is our responsibility today?

A connection exists between the first promises of the Bible, made to the Jewish people, and the most recent anti-Semitic incidents around the world. The Holocaust could not have taken place without certain conditions, which included traditional Christian anti-Semitism. This book takes us on a journey from the Bible to the Church Fathers; the Enlightenment Era to WWI; then to WWII and the Holocaust. We finish our journey in our post-Holocaust world where we need to understand our responsibility.
