Second Son of Hamas Reveals Corruption

Suheib Yousef is the younger brother of Mosab Yousef, both sons of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef. This week Suheib followed in the footsteps of his brother by deserting Hamas and accusing it of being exclusively committed to expanding its own power.

He said that Hamas encourages attacks in the West Bank simply to kill civilians, not to further the aim of resistance against their enemy and not even because they hate Jews.

“They send out these innocents because they want to export the crisis to the West Bank.”

He attacked Hamas’ ruthless quest for power, describing the organization as:

“a racist terror organization that is dangerous for the Palestinian people.”

Those who send aid money to Gaza, such as the government in Qatar, would do well to pay attention to Suheib’s comments. For he went on to say:

“When I lived in Turkey, I was shocked by the behaviour of the Hamas members.
They ate in the best restaurants, in places where one course cost $200,” he said.
“A family in Gaza lives on $100 per month.”

“Hamas leaders live in fancy hotels and luxury towers,
their kids learn at private schools, and they are very well paid by Hamas.
They get between four and five thousand dollars a month,
they have guards, swimming pools, country clubs.”

Following Suheib’s crushing revelations, it is no surprise to read reports that Hamas is now engaged in massive efforts at damage control.

Suheib himself says he is speaking out in order to help the Palestinian people by exposing the truth about corruption within Hamas:

“The problem in Gaza is that Hamas hangs on to power by force.
If Hamas gave up power, there would be no problems.”

Indeed, he went as far as to say that Hamas security and military operations in Turkey are all about working for a foreign agenda.

“This isn’t for the Palestinian cause. Instead, they sell the information to Iran
in return for financial assistance.”
