Netherlands Halts Aid to Palestinian Authority

Israeli websites are reporting that the Dutch parliament voted yesterday to halt aid payments to the Palestinian Authority (PA) because of its policy of paying terrorists jailed in Israel and their families.

The Dutch parliament expressed its objection to providing ongoing funding to the PA when some of the money was destined for people ‘who commit terrifying acts of murder.’

This latest decision comes one day after the Dutch Parliament passed a motion criticising the recent European Court of Justice ruling that EU countries must identify Israeli settlement products on their labels

That motion by the Dutch Parliament criticised the EU decision as being discriminatory against Israel, because the same standards are not applied to other countries around the world.
