CFI Presents Seminar at CRE 2020

The main Christian Resources Exhibition (CRE) in 2020 is another of the many events that have been forced to reconfigure due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Planned to take place in the spacious Surrey Hall at Sandown Park racecourse, the physical exhibition had to be cancelled.

So, the organisers have taken the exhibition online, renaming it ‘CRE at Home 2020’, starting this morning, 13th October, and continuing over the next two days, as in the original schedule.

Each day the programme starts with a short introduction with some songs, then visitors can choose from more than 20 different seminars.

After many years of attending this exhibition with our resource stall, this was the first year that Christian Friends of Israel had planned to present a seminar at the event. So our seminar had to go online too – quite a challenge coming soon after a lot of work involved in taking our own Annual Conference online in September.

And whilst it doesn’t feature in the CRE brochure (due to late submission) our seminar is available amongst the others.

Titled ‘Seeking a Clearer Picture of Israel’ it introduces people to some aspects of this complicated subject and attempts to achieve a better-balanced picture than the one presented in the mainstream media.

Given Israel’s central place in the Bible, this seminar should be of interest to all Christians.
