The situation to the north of Israel is deteriorating quite rapidly. Two weeks ago, the number of countries advising their citizens to avoid Lebanon increased when Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain joined others like Saudi Arabia, Germany and the United Kingdom.
The warnings arose due to an armed conflict between rival Palestinian groups inside a refugee camp in the south of Lebanon, as reported by i24 News:
Just a few days later the situation was further complicated when a clash broke out between Hezbollah militants and members of the Christian community in the Lebanese town of Kahali. Now UNWRA has suspended services at the Palestinian refugee camp, which is the largest in Lebanon, to protest against the presence of armed fighters around its schools and other facilities within the area, saying:
“The Agency does not tolerate actions that breach the inviolability and neutrality of its installations.”
