Addressing the United Nations General Assembly today, Benjamin Netanyahu used the biblical account of the choice faced by the ancient Israelites to speak optimistically about the prospects for peace and the blessings that would flow as a result.
Highlighting the success of the Abraham Accords and the potential for peace with Saudi Arabia, alongside the momentous agreement at the G20 meeting to develop a trade corridor running from India through the Middle east to Europe, his words drew much applause from his audience.
Even when he highlighted the caveat that peace must be based upon truth and not upon lies, the gathered representatives of the nations showed their appreciation of his words.
