UNRWA Teachers Support Hamas

The non-governmental organisation UN Watch has just exposed a group of 3,000 UNRWA teachers in the Gaza Strip who share posts on the Telegram app in support of Hamas and celebrating its achievements during the 7th October massacre in southern Israel.

That Telegram chat group is meant to support UNRWA teachers. It contains many files with UNRWA staff names, ID numbers, schedules, and curriculum materials. But there are also many posts celebrating the 7th October massacre just minutes after it began, praising the terrorists as “heroes” and glorifying the education they had received – the education that taught them to hate Israelis and value martyrdom.

According to UN Watch, UNRWA teachers in the Telegram group shared photos of dead or captured Israelis and also urged the execution of hostages.

Basically, as Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, pointed out, this all reaffirms the great concern that UNRWA teachers are inciting young Gazans to participate actively in Jihadi terrorism.

Neuer has voiced that concern over many years and is once again using social media to call on the United Nations and its member states to take action so as to stop this gross misuse of funds provided to educate Gazan children.
