Prayer Sung on National TV

Israeli singer-songwriter Shai Sol gave a moving live performance of her latest song on Israel’s state-owned KAN 11 TV channel. Accompanied by her Miqedem bandmate, Jamie Hilsden, she performed the song called ‘And Return Sons to their Borders’, a title based on Jeremiah 31:16.

Shai is a Jewish Israeli follower of Jesus, and the song makes a connection between the redemption of the tribes of Israel from exile with the current situation of Israelis held captive by Hamas, thus resonating strongly with many Israelis.

In an interview with ALL ISRAEL NEWS afterwards, Shai said:

"It was moving to have the opportunity to perform the song live
as part of the news and morning panel.
I feel it’s an enormous privilege and purpose to offer a prayer in such difficult times
and I received many messages from Israel and around the world
that the song touched and moved people."
