Following Hezbollah’s humiliating setback on Tuesday and Wednesday, when thousands of pagers and other items of communication equipment exploded, Arab media has seen widespread mocking of the terrorist group.
The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) has published an article on its website showing examples of cartoons that have been posted on social media about the group’s new difficulties with its communications – several of them showing plastic cups linked with string.
In this interview with CBN News’ Chris Mitchell, the founder of MEMRI, Yigal Carmon, describes the mocking and explains that Hezbollah’s many Arab enemies are greatly relieved at this significant reversal for the terrorist group.
He also highlights the hypocrisy of Hassan Nasrallah’s statement on Thursday that “Israel had declared war on Hezbollah,” when it was the terrorist group who started firing missiles at Israel on 8th October 2023 in support of Hamas.
