Facebook Suspended Our Page

After years of successfully communicating with our friends on Facebook, the social media giant suspended our page earlier this month, suggesting that we are impersonating Christian Friends of Israel UK rather than actually being Christian Friends of Israel UK.

As we are sure you can imagine, this is very puzzling for us, especially when the page was clearly linked to our website.

So, we assume it is an action produced by an automated review system. But we can’t help wondering whether it might have something to do with the very widespread bias against Israel in the international media currently.

We are disappointed that Facebook is taking so long to respond to our appeal. It now seems the delay will prevent us from communicating with our Facebook friends during the Christmas and Hannukah celebrations.

So, we would just like to say to any of those friends who read this, looking for an explanation, we hope to be back in touch with you on Facebook again soon.
