Hezbollah is Breaching the Ceasefire

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) struck several Hezbollah targets in Lebanon overnight Sunday, due to Hezbollah violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement. A rocket launcher, a military site, and smuggling routes along the Syria-Lebanon border were hit.

The IDF said they only did this after the international ceasefire monitoring mechanism had been informed of the violations but failed to address them.

These air strikes came just two days after an Israeli drone targeted a car travelling near the city of Tyre, killing 5 people, according to local media. The location is 12 miles north of the border with Israel.

These strikes reveal the fragility of the ceasefire, with the IDF saying Hezbollah is repeatedly breaching their side of the deal.

The ceasefire agreement states that Hezbollah will dismantle its remaining military infrastructure in the south and pull its forces back to the north of the Litani River, about 20 miles from the border with Israel.

12 minutes into the update below, TBN News give further detail, saying that IDF spokesperson`s unit said that the IDF remains committed to the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, but is not satisfied with the way that the ceasefire agreement is being implemented and believe that Hezbollah is deceiving people.
