Passover Celebrated Under Fire

Just one day before western Christians commemorate the final Passover meal that Jesus ate with his disciples on Earth, Israelis celebrated Passover while under fire from Iranian missiles.

The Israel Defence Forces notified the public on Wednesday afternoon that missiles had been launched from Iran, while air defence systems prepared to intercept them. About 10 ballistic missiles were fired in the first few minutes of the attack - a larger barrage than most fired over the last two weeks.

There were no physical injuries reported but several people were treated for anxiety, according to Magen David Adom who released footage from impact sites across the country showing significant damage to buildings that were hit.

The lack of injuries yesterday evening was a welcome contrast to Saturday 21st March, when nearly 200 people were injured by 2 missiles that struck the cities of Arad and Dimona. As described in this short All Israel News prayer video, it seems miraculous that no one was killed.
