Fire Emergency Appeal
A temporary fund to aid recovery from the fires
Israel's Fire and Rescue Services report that the authorities dealt with a total of 1,773 fires in Israel between 18th and 26th November 2016. Those fires have caused extensive damage and forced many people to be evacuated from their homes.
These fires are said to have ravaged around 6,900 acres of land and destroyed hundreds of homes. So there is a significant need for funds to aid the recovery. Money donated to this appeal will be forwarded to the 'Emergency Aid Fund for Israel', run by CFI Jerusalem, which helps to bring much needed relief to those in Israel affected during times of emergency.
